A new church for a new generation

Worldview

A worldview is the way one thinks and looks at things.

A worldview is determined by one's belief system.

Everyone has one. We do, you do.

Problem is, if one's belief system is based on faulty information, then their worldview is also faulty.

A Christian worldview is based on what the Bible teaches because the Bible is our authority.

Values

BIBLE: The Bible is our authority.
The Bible determines our purpose and strategy.
2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21

PURPOSE: Methods are not to be confused with purpose.
We recognize that our God-given purpose will never change. It is our understanding that methods must change as the needs of people do.
Matthew 9:27-30; Matthew 20:28

INFLUENCE: Trusting Christ is a process that is most effectively facilitated through friendships with believers.
In a practical way, the Lord often uses believers to lead their friends to Christ. As a result, GracePointe is committed to "relational-process" driven evangelism rather than majoring on "program-driven" evangelism.
Romans 9:1-3; Colossians 4:5-6

SERVING: Every believer is a minister, gifted by God for the benefit of the Body of Christ.
We are dedicated to assisting believers in discovering, developing, and demonstrating their gifts. We are also committed to a church organization built on spiritual gifts.
Romans 12; 1 Corinthians 12; Ephesians 4

COMMUNITY: The Church is not a building. The Church is people.
Building authentic relationships of encouragement and accountability with other followers of Jesus is crucial to the edification of the Church.
Acts 2:44, 1 Corinthians 12:12
